Terms of use and end-user licence agreement

These terms cover your use of the blbol.net website and your licence to use the BLBOL Download Manager software. Please read them before you install BLBOL.

Last updated October 17, 2026

1. About these terms

By using blbol.net or by installing or using BLBOL Download Manager (“BLBOL” or “the software”), you agree to these terms. These terms are an agreement between you and BLBOL Software (“we”), the publisher of BLBOL. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software. These terms are available in several languages for convenience; if the versions differ, the English version applies, to the extent permitted by the law of your country.

2. Using the website

You may browse blbol.net, download the software and use the speed test for personal or business purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the website, overload it with automated requests, or access parts of the server that are not published. Content on the website, including text, graphics and the BLBOL name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors.

3. Licence to use BLBOL

Trial

You may evaluate the complete software free of charge for 30 days. After 30 days, starting new downloads requires a valid licence. Files already downloaded stay on your PC. Purchases are not available yet.

Purchases later

Purchases are coming later. No payment or automatic renewal is set up by this trial.

Licence keys

The current version checks licence keys locally using an embedded public key, without contacting an activation server. Keep any valid licence key private; do not share, publish or resell it.

4. Restrictions

Except where the law or the licence of an open-source component allows it, you may not:

  • copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the software;
  • remove, bypass or tamper with the trial or licence checks;
  • rent, lend, sell or redistribute the software or a licence key;
  • use the software to break the law or to infringe the rights of others.

5. Your responsibility for what you download

BLBOL is a tool. You are responsible for what you download with it and for how you use the files. Download only content you own, that is licensed for download, or that you have permission to save, and respect the terms of the websites you use and the rights of creators. BLBOL does not bypass digital rights management (DRM) and must not be used to circumvent technical protection measures.

6. Third-party software and notices

BLBOL uses the following third-party components. Each is provided under its own licence, which applies to that component instead of these terms. The full licence texts are included in the licenses folder of the BLBOL installation.

ComponentHow BLBOL uses itLicence
yt-dlpReads video pages and lists available formats. Downloaded on first use from the official GitHub releases and run as a separate program. Source: github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp.The Unlicense; the official Windows builds include components under GPL v3 or later
FFmpegJoins video and audio streams and converts audio. LGPL builds are downloaded on demand and run as a separate program. Source: ffmpeg.org.GNU LGPL v3 or later

Deno (optional)An optional JavaScript runtime you can add from BLBOL's Components settings.MIT
Inno SetupBuilds the BLBOL installer.Inno Setup licence

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences. In particular, you may replace the FFmpeg component with another compatible build, and reverse engineering is permitted to the extent the LGPL requires for debugging such modifications. The fonts used on this website, Inter and IBM Plex Sans Arabic, are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

7. Updates

We may release updates that fix problems or add features. BLBOL also updates its video components automatically so that downloads keep working when websites change. Updates may change or remove features where this is needed for security, legal reasons or compatibility with websites.

8. Purchases and refunds

Purchases are coming later. No payment or automatic renewal is set up by this trial.

9. No warranty

The software is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee that every website or video can be downloaded, as this depends on third parties. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BLBOL and its authors are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from the use of the software or the website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your licence in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Termination

Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms. When it ends, you must stop using the software and uninstall it. Sections 5, 9 and 10 continue to apply.

12. Trademarks

BLBOL and the BLBOL logo are our trademarks. Names of other products and services mentioned on this website, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Chrome and Edge, are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. BLBOL is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

13. General

If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the laws that apply at the publisher's place of business, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes will be announced on this website. For questions, contact us: the support page.
