BLBOL Download Manager is a Windows app that makes downloads faster and more reliable by using several connections per file, and saves videos from more than 1,000 sites, YouTube included. It works with Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Opera through a small extension.

This installer is not code-signed. Windows may show an unknown-publisher or SmartScreen warning. Download only from blbol.net and compare the SHA-256 on the download page for file integrity; a matching hash is not a safety guarantee. Run it only if you trust the source. Do not disable Windows security or ignore an antivirus detection.

Many servers limit the speed of each connection. BLBOL opens several connections to the same file, up to 32, each downloading a different part, so together they use more of your bandwidth. Learn how it works.

Some download managers save each connection to a separate temporary file and join them at the end, which can take a long time for large files. BLBOL writes every part of a regular download straight into the final file, so at 100% the file is ready. For videos, the audio and video streams are joined right after the download, without re-encoding.

Yes. If the server supports resuming, BLBOL continues from where it stopped after a crash, a reboot or a lost connection. If the address has expired, BLBOL can refresh it automatically. More about resuming.

Yes. Set a limit for all downloads, for a queue or for a single download.

Yes. The scheduler starts and stops queues at the times you choose, and can put Windows to sleep or shut it down when everything is finished.

Yes. BLBOL lists every format YouTube offers for a video, up to 8K, HDR and 60 fps when the uploader provides them, plus audio-only MP3, M4A or Opus. More about the YouTube downloader.

When TikTok provides a version without the watermark, BLBOL downloads that one.

Only videos your own account can see. When a site needs you signed in, the extension lets BLBOL use your browser session for that site. Your password is never shared.

No. BLBOL does not bypass DRM, so protected streams such as paid films and series cannot be downloaded.

Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera and other Chromium-based browsers. Firefox is not supported yet.

No. You can always copy a link and press Ins in BLBOL. The extension adds automatic capture, the right-click menu and video detection.

No. It sends information only to the BLBOL app on your own PC and collects no analytics. Read the extension privacy policy.
