Open the Audio tab, pick MP3 and BLBOL saves the soundtrack as a tagged file. For a whole playlist, set one rule such as “MP3 320 kbps”.

YouTube download questions
Can BLBOL download YouTube videos in 4K or 8K?
Yes. BLBOL lists every format YouTube offers for a video, up to 8K, HDR and 60 fps when the uploader provides them. Pick the one you want and BLBOL saves the original streams without re-encoding the video.
How do I download a YouTube video as MP3?
Open the Audio tab in the quality picker and choose MP3. You can pick the bitrate up to 320 kbps, the highest MP3 setting; it cannot add quality beyond YouTube's source audio. Cover art and tags are added automatically.
Can I download a whole YouTube playlist?
Yes. Paste the playlist link, choose which videos to keep and set one quality rule, such as “Best up to 1080p” or “MP3 320 kbps”. BLBOL queues them and downloads several at once.
Do I need a YouTube account?
No. Public videos download without signing in. For age-restricted or members-only videos, sign in to YouTube in your browser with an account that is allowed to watch them, and BLBOL uses that session for the download.
Why does a video only show 720p?
BLBOL lists what YouTube provides. Some videos are uploaded in lower quality, and very new uploads can take a while before YouTube finishes processing the higher resolutions.
Is it legal to download YouTube videos?
It depends on the video, on YouTube's terms and on where you live. Rights holders can allow downloads (for example your own uploads or Creative Commons licences), but YouTube's terms also limit downloading outside YouTube's own features. You are responsible for what you download.
